STUDENT ORGANIZATION
All leaders for students’ organisation are elected by secret ballot. The election is done once a year. The leaders include a President, Vice President and a Principal Secretary.
Other members of students’ organisation include the leaders of the committees, at present we have 9 committees:
- Education
- Discipline and Law
- Security and Stability
- Games and Culture
- Health and Food
- Environmental cleanliness
- Economy and Planning
- Counselling
- Liturgy
The class leaders and dormitory leaders are also included when students’ organisation carry out its day to day activities.
The president of students’ organisation is a representative at the Academic and Disciplinary Committees meetings.
STUDENT EVENTS
Students participate in community public gatherings e.g. meetings, celebrations. They also participate in day to day activities at St. Walburg‘s Nyangao hospital and Nyangao Parish.
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
In order to orient them to self-reliance students participate in cultivating garden for vegetables and fruit trees, and maize.
They participate in the care of flower garden around the school compound.
At their dormitories they care for cleanliness of dormitories themselves.
GAMES AND RECREATION
There is a big Television screen and students watch events worldwide.
There are playgrounds for football and netball. Students have football matches with some teams from Nyangao village.
There are also indoor games – “Bao”, “Karata” Draft, Table tennis e.t.c in which students play to relax their mind.
