WELCOME NOTE

I warmly welcome you to Sr. Dr. Thekla  Nyangao  School of Nursing for your studies. You will benefit from your stay here as our school takes efforts to improve the quality of your life.

The school has good environment which is friendly for learning and has adequate teaching and learning materials. There are teachers who devote most of their time in teaching and supervising students. For this the academic performance is relatively high in our school.

All graduates are with good experience at the end of the training as they were exposed to actual caring of patients at the clinical areas. This is because St. Walburga Nyangao hospital, where the students have clinical rotation, is a big hospital with many patients who attend for various clinics. The hospital has also many patients who stay as in-patients in the wards.

Students have opportunity to have fieldwork and stay in villages around the Rural Health Centres in Lindi District Council. This gives them added advantage to their experience.
